Remember that the handles in your shower control the water so there is no need to turn off any other water taps. Simply screw existing shower off the wall anti cock wise using a spanner, then place 15 turns of plumbers tape onto the now exposed pipe thread allowing the first 2-3 threads to remain exposed so that the shower filter catches the thread easily. Then screw shower filter onto this pipe and inturn the shower onto the other side of the shower filter, which also needs plumbers tape. Then flush shower filter for 5 minutes to allow any loose particles to pass through and your done. |
